Lightbox Acquired!
Good news, everyone!
I bought a cheap lightbox. It came with two lights, the box (interchangeable backdrops) and a phone holder for the price of a real grade ($35).
Basically the black outer case (an unmarked side) faces you from the back. One side is connected to just the back, while the other side and the is connected to both the back and the top, and then you fold the top over to velcro (hook and loop) on to the other side. Then you put a long sheet (I chose white) that forms the back and floor, velcro'd at the top. And you've just kinda gotta make sure the sides rest on the long sheet.
Its not perfect but for the price its pretty good. I'll probably look into cheap desk lamps to see if I can get a light from the top, and I'll have to experiment with the different backgrounds.
Anyways, here's how it looks:
So that's it! Its not in a good spot for me to take quick pictures while assembling, at least not yet, and there's some pictures I've taken already that I haven't posted yet, but you can at least expect major pictures or final pictures to get an upgrade in quality. I've also got a spinning mirrored base coming, so we may expect some videos too, that actually look semi-like a real gunpla reviewers!
What do you think? Do you like the upgrade, or is it pretty much the same to you? Any tips from the pros out there? Get in touch!
